What's going on in the background? Maybe there really was a plot to oust Kim and install his brother, hence Kim bumping him off. That didn't work, so now the US (in behind-the-scenes co-operation with China?) fabricate a reason to show a bit of a threat in order to scare/embolden Kim's generals and force another internal coup?
Or just the MSM making shit up out of nothing?

It must be totally galling for all those big, worker/voter employing American manufacturers to look around the world at where they have not sat-fat bombed and see a whole nation they know would be gagging to buy all the shit they could produce if only there was some way into the market for them.
Bombing the fuck out of Iraq seemed to be quite profitable for the right sort of people. Just saying that in passing, like.

How a country so poor can stump up that kind of arsenal and military manpower must be a concern.

Eggy - we actually don't really know. He doesn't hold the same lustre as his father and grandfather, but whether that means he doesn't have the same power we just don't know. We don't know what way the military would go, and that's what it'd come down to.
Having not long been there, you couldn't tell. The other two are treated with great deference, but then they are dead. They speak about him in the same way.
